About the Artist

My passion for art began early on, but took a back seat during my years in the corporate world and while raising a family. I returned to painting later in life as a way to manage anxiety, and over time, it evolved into something deeper—both a daily practice and a profession. Each piece is an act of choosing presence over pressure, stillness over urgency, and beauty over noise.

Amid chaos, art becomes a place of stillness—a space where we can breathe, reflect, and remember what matters.

My work is meant to invite introspection and a sense of peace using texture, light, and shadow to create depth and emotion. My goal is for each piece to take you somewhere - into a memory, a feeling, or simply a quiet state of mind. Works are primarily done in oil, cold wax, acrylic, and mixed media. I am largely self-taught and view learning and experimentation as core to my process.

All works are created out of my home studio in the suburbs of Chicago, IL where I live with my husband and my two children - the lights of my life and my biggest supporters.

Commissions

  • Commissioning art may seem intimidating, but I would love to change that perception. With a 15+ year background in consulting and strategy work I have uniquely well-honed skills in listening and understanding, which I believe to be the core of commissioning art - understanding the buyer.

  • I work with both individuals and interior designers. We can start from past works that you find compelling or we can start from a color palette and emotion and work from there. The process includes discussing color palette, subject, and size and have a mid-completion checkpoint.

  • If you’re interested in commissioning work I can be reached through the contact form below or through Instagram.
